About us – The collector's shop for physical films

Filmhyllan is the Nordic region's import and collector's shop for physical films. Since 2019, we have helped over 18,000 customers find the right edition – from brand new 4K UHD restorations to SteelBooks, limited editions and cult classics on Blu-ray and DVD. Our passion is film history, stylish packaging and correct metadata that makes the choice easy.

We believe that physical film still has a soul. That's why we curate a range where image and sound quality as well as collector's value are the guiding principles: 4K editions with Dolby Vision/Atmos, numbered boxes, slipcovers, mediabooks and boutique labels such as Arrow, Second Sight, Radiance, Eureka/MoC, Indicator and Criterion. Do you need UK import, DE import or US import? With us, you can see the language, subtitles, region code and packaging language directly – and we always explain whether the title is playing in the Nordic countries (tip: UHD/4K is region-free).

We are known for our collector's packaging. SteelBooks and slipcovers receive shock-resistant mailers. Should something get damaged on the way, we have a mint guarantee that will help you quickly. We ship daily from our Swedish warehouse and show clear ETA times for ordered goods and imports.

For those of you who love to be first, we offer pre-orders and an updated release calendar with the week's upcoming 4K and Blu-ray releases. Are you looking for older or sold-out titles? Place an alert and we will hunt down the right edition through our suppliers.

Filmhyllan is available in Swedish, Danish, English, German and Finnish, and we welcome collectors from all over the world. We also help libraries, schools and public organizations with theme packages and smooth payment flows.
