The young Hobbit Frodo inherits a seemingly insignificant ring from his cousin, Bilbo. Frodo discovers that the ring's original creator, the evil Sauron, is desperately seeking the ring. It possesses very evil powers that could enable Sauron to enslave the inhabitants of the land of Middle-earth. There is only one way out - to capture the ring in the Gorge of Doom. A small, select party, led by Frodo, sets out on the daunting quest, a journey filled with adventure and horror. From JRR Tolkien's classic book.
"The Tale of the Two Towers" is the second film in the trilogy The Hobbit. Frodo and Sam continue into Mordor on a quest to find the One Ring. The concluding instalment in the Ring of Honor trilogy. Aragorn travels to Gondor to lead his people in the final battle against the forces of evil. Meanwhile, Sam and Frodo approach Mount Doom and their goal of capturing the Ring. But they have a strange journey...
"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" tells the story of Bilbo Baggins' journey to reclaim the kingdom of Erebor, which was destroyed by the dragon Smaug many years ago. During his journey, his path is crossed by the wizard Gandalf Grå and suddenly Bilbo is part of a group of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior Torin Oakenshield. The journey to the realm of the dwarves is through the wilderness, through the area where orcs and trolls roam free.
After successfully completing the first leg of the unexpected journey, the group travels onwards through the beautiful forest of Mörkveden. There they are confronted by the giant Beorn, a horde of giant spiders and attacked by the dangerous forest elves. After a dramatic escape, they manage to make it to the Lake City and on to the Lonely Mountain to face the greatest danger of all - the huge dragon Smaug. A challenge that will put their courage and skill to the ultimate test.
The third and final instalment in Peter Jackson's trilogy: the group has inadvertently struck down the dragon Smaug, who is furiously unleashing his fire on the defenseless men, women and children of the city. Thorin is obsessed with the treasure he has found, forcing Bilbo to make a risky decision. But even greater dangers await when the mighty Sauron sends an army of Orcs to attack.
