One morning, the inhabitants of a house discover that the building is surrounded by an impenetrable darkness. Windows and doors are blocked and the opaque black fog prevents any escape. The attempt to get through it ends abruptly. To secure their survival in this hopeless situation, the tenants organise themselves into groups, but when the food runs out, they give in to their most primitive instincts, until the only thing that counts in the whole house is the voice of the stronger.
